SCOPE

Tensiomyography(TMG) is a method of muscle assessment that has gained popularity in recent years because of its simplicity, non invasive, reliability and high performance. Its progressive introduction into the area of health and training has caused an increased interest of researchers has allowed a deeper knowledges of the tool and its utilities. As a result, the number of scientific publications that have appeared over the three last years has increased exponentially and the areas of focus have been diversified. The dynamics of adaptations to load in muscles and tendons are different. Understanding their mechanical loading behavior during different sport activities is a necessary step toward more efficient adaptation processes in training and sports pathology management.
